I’m considering including the country of origin of an artist within the ID tags of my audio files. Anybody else already do this and got a system they’d recommend?
I’m thinking “LOCATION” tag, generally just with the country (eg. “Finland”) then for more detail adding a region/state (eg. “Australia, Blue Mountains” or “USA, California”) - that way I can create autoplaylists in Foobar based on country of origin and/or genre, etc.
Don’t want Australian hip-hop? It’s gone! Only want New York hip-hop? There you are!
EDIT: …of course, to what level of detail do I go?
